Growing up in California, I always had a desire to learn about the mountain ranges, forests, and coasts that surrounding me. Luckily, I never grew out of my curiosities and, instead, they have become a large influence on my research interests: climate change, sea level rise, and ocean oxygenation. I am a PhD student at Tulane University working with Dr. Torbjörn Törnqvist in the Quaternary Research Group (QRG) and with Dr. Yi Wang in the Geochemistry and Paleoceanography Lab. In my research, I hope to gain a better understanding of the sea level rise and ocean oxygenation during MIS 5e.
